Why are you a fighter?
Fighting, particularly striking, satisfies my primitive need for violence.
What makes someone a fighter?
A fighter is recognized by their way to risk their safety, in order to protect something that is vulnerable. This is not limited to physical applications.
What are you goals in fighting?
My short term goals consist of winning and defending an amateur title under Garcia Promotions and eventually move toward the professional scene. My long term goal is to build the credibility as a professional fighter/ social figure in order to build a lasting legacy for my family.
What's your favorite thing about fighting?
My favorite thing about the sport of fighting is being able to give the little information that I have to another person in need. As for the fight itself, I am obsessed with the violent debate that takes place in the cage.
How did you get started in fighting?
I began recreational fighting in 2010 as a part time hobby. Then, I moved to college Station, TX and committed to full-time training in 2015.
If you could start your fight career over, what would you do differently?
If could hit a restart button, I would definitely start at an earlier age, and wrestled in high school.
What do you like to do outside of fighting?
I love spending quality time with my Queen, mostly cuddling. I love broadcasting my knowledge of happiness, and overall sharing my experiences with others.
What is your life motto?
My life motto is:" If you can't explain something simply, then you don't understand it well enough."- Einstein
Who has been the most inspirational person in your life and why?
My Father is the most inspirational person in my life, and in many other people's lives as well. Leadership, competition, and vocal motivation are some of the largest parts of my personality. My father strives in all three. He continues to mold me into a better man with each conversation.
What's something people should know about you?
People should know that I prioritize my happiness. I go to college to learn, not to get an arbitrary piece of paper. I have a like for learning, a love for thinking, and a life for teaching. I prefer standing out, not falling in. I believe that ADHD stands or Advanced Determined Human in Development. Having your children surpass your productive achievements is the greatest achievement of all.
