Why are you a fighter?
I have been extremely competitive my entire life…after finding this sport ot have doubt this is the best way to express that.
What makes someone a fighter?
Finding enjoyment in overcoming adversity.
What are you goals in fighting?
To never stop getting better as a martial artist and athlete… other goals will then take care of themselves.
What's your favorite thing about fighting?
Getting into a groove or flow while competing is extremely gratifying.
How did you get started in fighting?
I wanted a way to stay in shape after ending a collegiate football career while attending school. I fell in love with the sport after already being interested as a fan.
If you could start your fight career over, what would you do differently?
I wish I would have pursues grappling sports along with the ones I did growing up.
What do you like to do outside of fighting?
Travel, be on the beach or hangout around water in general, snowboard.
What is your life motto?
“To whom much is given, much is tested.”
Who has been the most inspirational person in your life and why?
I can’t say I have one person that inspired me most. I draw inspiration from my family, friends, and past teammates I have had.
What's something people should know about you?
I was a lifelong soccer player before I started kicking footballs in high school and college. I grew up in San Antonio and Cibolo, TX. I came to College Station for an education, but didn’t think it would be in fighting…
