Why are you an MMA fighter?
I am an MMA fighter because I enjoy seeing myself progress in something I love to do. I wasn’t able to find my niche until I found martial arts.
What makes someone a fighter?
Heart, determination, and a purpose makes someone a fighter in my opinion.
What are your goals in MMA?
My goals are to become a world renowned coach.
How would you describe your fight style?
Freestyle mixed martial artist.
What's your favorite thing about fighting?
My favorite thing about fighting is the raw competitiveness. There aren’t any politics or false intentions when you’re locked in a cage with another human.
If you could start your fight career over, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t do anything different. Losses are lessons and I’m very happy where my path has led me.
What do you know about your opponent and how do you expect this fight to go down?
I know he likes to box. I expect to stay on my feet.
What do you like to do outside of MMA?
I play video games and enjoy making music.
What is your life motto?
“For dust I am, and to dust I shall return.”
Who has been the most inspirational person in your life and why?
My little brother. He’s the strongest kid I know and half of the reason I still fight today.
What is something people should know about you?
I don’t fight for the violence. I fight cause it’s genuine. I think it’s the purest form of human competition/art.
You fought in the Brazos Throwdown II. Looking back to that fight, how do you feel about your performance?
I feel like I did ok. Can’t do much when someone is avoiding your strengths at all costs. I’d rather take a loss knowing the victor failed to entertain the crowd
Is there anyone you would like to thank?
I would like to thank my family, Ohana Academy, DeDee and Kerry Carson, Chloe and Bubba Bush, and all the hard working individuals that we fighters entertain.
